Bryan Herta Autosport w/ Curb-Agajanian (BHA) today announced it will enter the 2026 McLaren Trophy America Series, beginning at the Road Atlanta round June 12-14. This marks another significant expansion of the team’s championship-winning sports car program, that includes teams competing in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge as well as an LMP2 entry in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. The team's first McLaren Artura Trophy Evo—purpose-built for the series—has already arrived at the team's facility and will undergo initial systems checks and testing as the team builds toward its 2026 debut campaign. This will be a precursor to an expanded presence in the championship in 2027 and beyond.
The addition of the McLaren Trophy America program further strengthens BHA’s multi-series platform, which has established the team as one of North America’s premier driver development and sports car operations. Known for its success across IMSA, IndyCar, Pikes Peak, and global motorsports, BHA will now bring its proven engineering, driver coaching, and race execution expertise to McLaren’s rapidly growing single-make championship.
“Expanding into the McLaren Trophy America Series is a natural next step for our organization,” said Bryan Herta, President and CEO of BHA. “This program allows us to continue our growth while creating more opportunities across the board—for drivers looking to develop, for engineers and mechanics to gain experience within a highly competitive environment. We’re excited to welcome the Artura Trophy Evo into our shop and begin preparing for what we expect to be a strong first season. The McLaren Trophy America Series has a great trajectory with many exciting plans for the future, we look forward to joining the great teams and drivers already competing there.”
BHA is now accepting inquiries from drivers interested in competing in the McLaren Trophy America Series. Interested parties can contact Jeff Swoboda at jswoboda@bryanhertaautosport.com for additional information.
Further announcements regarding driver lineups, testing schedules, and partner opportunities will be made in the coming weeks.
